No, neoliberalism is not “just as bad.” It is stupid. It is wrong. It is treacherous. It is fucked up. But. it. is. not. fascism.

saying this is like saying the caterpillar and the butterfly are not the same. that's true, but one thing leads to the other. saying it like this minimizes the dangers of neoliberalism.

It only leads to the other if we let it. And we let it.

The only time you can push a politician is pre-election, once you give them your vote they don’t need anything from you and they stop caring what you have to say

No. But we hand over an immense amount of power by voting for them. This election is one of the final pieces for the GOP to fully control the DNC. The DNC is the traitor shooting us in the back while we are in the battlefield fighting the enemy. You don't hand them bullets.

Marianne it’s all about the money. The Democratic Party is controlled by big money interests and they will do what their donors want. And then on top of that there is a corporate media structure in this country that protects them from any scrutiny.

It's about using our vote as leverage to get them to do better. If we continue to give our vote out of fear, they will keep doing the bare minimum. It's also kinda hard to sell Dems as an option when they passed most right-wing legislation even after taking the House.

Publicly pledging to vote for a candidate months before the election when that candidate has done zero to win that vote is ridiculous. By withholding that pledge, the candidate *might* consider your preferred policy. Otherwise, why should they if they already have your support?

It's by voting Green. The ones who actually care.
Is that not what the american democratic narrative is
I call what we would do to a diseased chicken coop! lol

Not *voting for either of the two clowns from the two major political parties of our corporate-controlled corrupt political duopoly. If a majority of Americans voted 3rd party, it would seriously disrupt the current rigged election system and render the Electoral College moot.
