No, neoliberalism is not “just as bad.” It is stupid. It is wrong. It is treacherous. It is fucked up. But. it. is. not. fascism.

saying this is like saying the caterpillar and the butterfly are not the same. that's true, but one thing leads to the other. saying it like this minimizes the dangers of neoliberalism.

It only leads to the other if we let it. And we let it.

No, it is implicit in the structure of Neoliberalism to exploit and leave space for imposed fascist leaders. You are being naive or purposefully ignoring facts.

Do you not remember Occupy? The BLM movement started during the Obama administration. Standing Rock happened during the Obama administration also. We have tried to change the system & those in charge have squashed those movements. They are the same!

Here you're just imposing hurdles before we start calling fascism. The visuals of a secret police being physically present at media outlets to make sure they control propaganda is not going to happen. But why wait for that visual if corporatist have accomplished same by $$$$$$ ?

No, we didn't "let it". Neoliberalism and the two-party farce deny people agency and political power. The illusion of choice. The well know Princeton study proves as much. And fascism is how capitalists quell demands for justice. Defend one, you defend the other.

Yes, by making arguments like your original tweet that argue we should vote for nice fascism and not blatant fascism. Glad you joined us.

This form of logic isn’t resonating with me. Or rather I understand, but why are you going out of your way to make this point exactly?

Fascism: Is enabled by almost every US politician, multinational corporations, the strongest military in the history of humanity, and the entire police state. Me, an unemployed person from Appalachia: This is my fault.

"Diabetes only leads to gangrene and blindness if we let it, so vote for diabetes, because it's better than gangrene." No. It's time to stop empowering the parties that only ever feed us sugar and get some Green Party in our diet.
