Studying about the rise of Hitler, one of the things that stands out is that he signaled everything he was going to do long before he did it. But people didn’t believe him. They thought it was just crazy, he must be joking, that that could never happen in such a strong democracy.

The Weimar Republic was never a "strong democracy." Germany's economy was pretty much trash from 1918 to 1933 and then completely trashed during the Great Depression. However, there are many similarities, including that economic disaster that pushed people to extremes.

I agree with you Marianne. 100%. There’s a feeling in the air, and the wording and the secret messages in his tweets are beyond alarming. There’s a puzzle the American people need to piece together. It scares me to think of the consequences if they don’t.

Hitler succeeded because big business & the wealthy bought into him, Henry Ford invested in him! It took about 12 years for him to get the chancellor role in 1933 & then he made his own rules! The powers to be thought they could control him! Trump is following the Nazis playbook!
