Studying about the rise of Hitler, one of the things that stands out is that he signaled everything he was going to do long before he did it. But people didn’t believe him. They thought it was just crazy, he must be joking, that that could never happen in such a strong democracy.

Only cause too many people were on the losing side of capitalism. If you put more unfettered capitalism which joe wants to do you'll get a more competent Trump later.

Have you read Berlin Diary by William L. Shirer ? Or Hitlerland by Andrew Nagorski ? Both so illuminating.

People need to realize Hitler did’t just set up death camps one day. History is repeating itself. This is our Hitler moment.

Right from the beginning I have compared Trump to the rise of Hitler. Sometimes people think that is over dramatic. They are different in their aspirations but there are also scary similarities

Trump isn't signaling. He nominated almost every cabinet member who is totally incompetent (like Gov Perry for nuclear) or conflicted parties with bias for EPA or CFPB or Jay Clayton for SEC (whom I'm helping make quit) . And, despite all the rhetoric, Trump is hands off Mitt .

Trump is not a fascist ideologue like Hitler.... Pence is. If we elect Biden we’ll get a fascist ideologue like hitler in 2024.
