Have most people who say “No he’s not a fascist” really read much about fascism? Have most people who say “No he isn’t like Hitler” really read much about Hitler? And have most people who underestimate the danger really read much about the Holocaust? When you do, it’s chilling.

I've read an awful lot about fascism, I've been to countries under dictatorship and military rule. You're not even close to either and if you think you are then clearly you don't know much about fascism or your own country.

Published in 2007 and even though it doesn't mention Trump but it does describe an archetype and Orange Man Bad fits it. Reading it and last month and know which year it came out felt very prophetic.
