History is littered with people who believe that an authoritarian ruling party will benefit them... that if they back the right horse they’ll reap the benefits of that power. Can’t think of a time that it actually worked out for more than a handful of those groups.

Most of his modalities are straight out of the fascism handbook. Ignorance is how they dig their hooks into them, hence the most uneducated being his most fervent supporters. I always wondered how fascist leaders in history took hold and now we're witnessing it firsthand.
