What if you’re wrong on this? For WW2, to paraphrase Gore Vidal, nazism ‘lost’, fascism still won. What were most then U.S. oligarchs funding before U.S. last declared war? Hint: Fascism, including Hitler. Before and since, (undeclared) war (crimes) are still a (fascist) racket.

Well said. The true battle is not with Trump or the Republicans. Our greatest challenge will be with millions of their supporters. It will be like conquering a foriegn land and attempting to establish a peaceful and unifying ideology.
