During World War II, fascists and Nazis were trying to take over the world and Americans marshaled all our efforts to push them back. Today, Americans are deciding whether or not to give them a second term.

Eeeeeehhh the U.S kinda just sat on the side and made profit from trading with both sides for half of the war then entered once Japan attacked. Much of the credit goes to the Soviets for taking the brunt of the German army and wiping out their most elite units.

No we didn't. The Soviets did. America didn't fight fascism. It absorbed it.

America was corporate owned back then but shared power with the people. Today there isn’t even a shred of power with the people. Corporatism is fascism. We have already been a corporate oligarchy for at least 30 years.

No they didn't. US was helping british secure their colonies in north Africa etc. Only when it appeared USSR would be in berlin 1st did they muster a strong force against Nazis. Plus, Ford, GM, IBM and other US corps were part of the industrial force of 3rd Reich.

America needed the UK, France, Canada and a host of others to help beat the Nazis... The Soviets did it alone. America never wins wars without strong allies willing to shoulder the burden, America has always failed alone. (See Vietnam and the “War on Terror”)

No. It was the Soviets that pushed them back, not the Americans. Thank the Soviets.

The FBI hired Nazis after WW2... “They believed the ex-Nazis’ intelligence value against the Russians outweighed what one official called “moral lapses” in their service to the Third Reich.” nytimes.com/2014/10/27/us/in…

But it was communists that actually prevailed and eliminated the fascist threat to the world

This is not true, @marwilliamson . Much of America did. Millions declared themselves conscientious objectors. Many others actually kept working WITH Nazi Germany, such as Prescott Bush, George H W Bush' father.
