By the time the US entered WW2, the UK had accumulated an enormous debt to fight the war against Nazi Germany. A lot of this debt was to the US. The US entered the European war to protect its banking interests. It's always about $$$ and the bankers. #AmericanExceptionalism

Another view, in 1940 our oligarchs, who really run this country, liked Hitler cause he was a buffer from the real enemy, USSR. Then AH got out of control like dictators do.
