When this horror is over - and one day it will be over - we will have a taste for decency, goodness and kindness more more potent and palpable than anything we can imagine now. With a winter like this our spring will be incredible

Marianne, I appreciate your hopeful words. I am more concerned with the looming "winter" we face. The united snakkkes is seeing just the beginning of neoliberal fascism. This is the best it will be for an extremely long, dark time.

The dinosaurs had quite a winter, and the spring was incredible. Just not for them.

It’s late summer. People will be more depressed in dec, Jan, and feb. no question. It will be cold and dark and very little else will have changed. Sorry. I wish that wasn’t reality, but it is.

1% of the pop. is psychopathic, but we’ve given them a drastically greater proportion of control. CEOs, cops, politicians. People devoid of empathy controlling essential functions of society. We need to root them out & remove them from positions of authority to have peace.
