We should also encourage people to be informed on issues. To do research, to learn something, to find facts, not just listen to ads and talking points from either side. To find out what they are voting for, not just to vote. It should be more.

Voter lists should be cleaned up. Each party is playing a game to get an advantage at the ballot box. This wouldn't be hard to solve if motives were honest on both sides.

Well. Many people don't vote because they keep getting horrible candidates presented to them. Then people they like and respect tell them to vote for one of them anyway. Is it any wonder why they are demoralized?
