When is the last time you sat in on a local government meeting? All governing is hard, because it involves people and people make things hard.

This was a policy choice by the Republican Senate ... perhaps they don't know anyone ... or have constituents ... in any of the mentioned categories ...

Mainly because progressives in Congress went ahead and pledged their vote to Joe instead of holding out and making demands such as these. Sad but true.
