We need to take on the absurd canard that helping people will weaken them, make them dependent or disincentivize them. I’ve thought a lot about what’s given me whatever success I’ve had & I’ve realized main 3 things: 1) someone helped me 2) someone helped me 3) someone helped me.

Just sayin, the problems with this are very close and real for me. I find myself questioning whether independence is even real.. for autonomy is crucial to INTEGRITY, but a support system is also necessary for adequate HEALING. The growth happens at its own pace regardless. #ugh
