A lot of people talk about how Biden needs to “earn my vote.” Of course he didn’t “earn your vote.” But I think this is less about what he owes us & more about what we owe millions of people in this country & billions throughout the world who will be affected by a 2nd Trump term.
We must refrain from blaming voters. 1) It won't get people to vote for Joe. 2) We live in a democracy & people have a right to vote for who they choose. 3) It alienates people from hearing Ur message & you have a lot of great things to say & I say this as someone voting for Joe.
So is everybody 13 years old now? I don’t think it’s “blaming” someone to say I disagree with them. A lot of people disagree with me on Twitter and I don’t necessarily feel blamed, I just feel disagreed with (except the hateful ones). And often I learn a thing or two.
The road to the progressive movement within the Democratic party leads to a grave yard.
They cheated our candidate & us twice. We don't owe them shit. They shit the bed. Let them sleep in it.
Hi Marianne! Did you bother listening to any of the other speaker yesterday?
Calling out the poor, the working class and the struggling youth, instead of calling out the Democratic nominee is the wrong take.
It's why we're here, and it sure as hell won't get Biden any votes.
"Of course he didn't 'earn your vote'...yes, 'of course'. You're showcasing how much both Republicans and Democrats love your own logic. Why would they ever make a single concession in the face of such obsequiousness and when your expectations of nothing are a forgone conclusion?
Then the DNC shouldn't have robbed us of our voices. They think this is a game. It's not a game to those who likely won't survive the next 4 years, regardless of which racist rapist wins.
Republicans love moving further and further right and watching the Dems trying to keep up.
They love that the dems are enacting right wing policy when they do win elections.
They love that the dems could, but won't, win in a landslide by simply serving the people.
