A lot of people talk about how Biden needs to “earn my vote.” Of course he didn’t “earn your vote.” But I think this is less about what he owes us & more about what we owe millions of people in this country & billions throughout the world who will be affected by a 2nd Trump term.

No sorry. I disagree. A LOT. It is not the job of the voter to come to the candidate. It's the job of the candidate to come to the voter. We don't owe Joe Biden who's crime bill locked up more POC in history than ever before. Nor do we owe the system built on racism anything.

I'm definitely in the camp that believes four years of a lame duck Trump stymied by a progressive presence in the House and Senate is far less harmful than enabling another 8 or 12 years of neoliberalism that would hold progress back for a generation.
