A lot of people talk about how Biden needs to “earn my vote.” Of course he didn’t “earn your vote.” But I think this is less about what he owes us & more about what we owe millions of people in this country & billions throughout the world who will be affected by a 2nd Trump term.

The "billions throughout the world?" How many of those will be killed or displaced by Biden's new wars? C'mon, you KNOW he will wage wars not currently being waged. You KNOW little will be changed domestically. The only winner with Biden or Trump is corporatism.

shame is, it really wouldn't be that hard for him to 'earn my vote', but he can't do it.

So once again Americans that are living in third world conditions of poverty and violence will have to be the ones making the sacrifice so that financially comfortable white liberals can get back to brunch? Weird how that works.

No. Stop. Biden *can* earn the votes required to beat Trump by embracing the *popular* policies the Democratic base and independents are clamoring for. Putting voters' material needs ahead of corporate profits is absolutely what he owes us.

I think this message is core. It’s hard to rebuild a house when it’s up in flames... get the situation under control, then make the next move.

Love you Marianne but who is the “we” you mention here? The people you presuppose a Biden term would help are the exact ones he is alienating by running on a platform straight out of the 1990’s Republican playbook. The public should never forget that politicians work for us!

Please support Biden Harris. Your words matter to a lot of people. Biden is a good man. Not perfect but we are NOT safe in trumps America. Another term may undo our entire democracy

let me tell you (being Spanish growing up in Germany and having lost both of my countries to fascism the day before yesterday) that sometimes in history it is not about what we gain - but we prevent. And you are exactly at this point .. basically, correct, for all of us
