A lot of people talk about how Biden needs to “earn my vote.” Of course he didn’t “earn your vote.” But I think this is less about what he owes us & more about what we owe millions of people in this country & billions throughout the world who will be affected by a 2nd Trump term.

Voting out of fear isn't any motivation to do anything. If that was the case there wouldn't be so many people not voting in general. Biden shouldn't have been the man at the forefront. DNC knew what they were gonna have to face for 4 years.

tell biden to not have an awful platform then. people care about policy. biden doesn't change policy theres a strong chance he will lose. and for every angry and "privileged" leftist on twitter theres way more working class people that will not show up.

Thanks, Marianne. I’ve never understood the privilege of saying “he didn’t earn my vote,” as if “my” should even enter into it. This is literally about protecting other people and the nation as a whole.

This is my overall point in my argument with you. I have much respect for you & I loved your speech at the #PeoplesConvention. However, Joe & Kamala do need to earn my vote & the votes of others. Any other argument made is just voter shaming & I thought you were better than that.

Hard pass. Not that my vote matters in a deeply blue state, but I respect my vote and demand policy in exchange for it. Democrats can take their "more electable" candidate that doesn't need progressives and show me they are right or admit that they were wrong and woo me.

But the radical left will not listen to you. See all of their comments. They care nothing about our country or other people - they care only about themselves and "being right". They helped elect Trump once and by God they'll do it again.
