A lot of people talk about how Biden needs to “earn my vote.” Of course he didn’t “earn your vote.” But I think this is less about what he owes us & more about what we owe millions of people in this country & billions throughout the world who will be affected by a 2nd Trump term.

we need to make sure that #PeoplesConvention makes a point RN... that the vote needs to be EARNED.

Actually, it doesn’t. We all know what happened here. So this isn’t about Biden earning our vote; it’s about stopping Trump from being president again. In my mind, breaking democracy’s free fall descent into the pit of fascism is reason enough.

I think a lot of those impacted people are themselves disillusioned with the DNC. What I've been saying is, he didn't earn your vote, but losing isn't a consequence for them because they just fundraise off needing to win next time. Idk if that works yet

Nobody knows that better than me. But if my house is on fire and the fireman comes, I don’t try to figure out whether or not I like him before deciding whether or not to allow him to put out the fire.

He also wouldn't lose a single vote if he supported M4A, but he would pick up millions of voters. There's no solid reason why he doesn't do it, besides his donors' desire for him to lose. There's nothing I can do to get Biden millions of votes; there's one thing Biden could do.

I don’t disagree with that. But the fact remains that if Trump is president again the world will suffer unimaginable consequences.
