We’re going to need a constitutional amendment to override Citizens United and get money out of politics. The undue influence of corporate money on our politics is the cancer underlying all other cancers. It’s in our hands now. #PeoplesConvention movetoamend.org

"The undue influence of corporate money on our politics is the cancer underlying all other cancers." No, capitalism is the fundamental problem. Money in politics is a byproduct of capitalism. The disease must be pulled out at its root.

No we don’t. We just need a law that states for every dollar donated to a political campaign, another dollar must go to reducing the deficit.

Was there a single elected official who could make this happen at the "convention"? The leader is a failed local Ohio politician who has never won a contested election and lost last race by 35 points.. 6 years ago. LOL. What Citizens United gone?? Elect Dems. You are a joke.

Sounds like something only #Unity2020 could accomplish... The DNC and RNC have a serious conflict of interest when it comes to money in politics...

The basic problem is the treatment in law of artificial, government-chartered, entities as real persons, with the full panoply of rights and liberties of real persons. The absurdity of the XIV Amendment applying to legal artificial "persons" is patent.
