We’re going to need a constitutional amendment to override Citizens United and get money out of politics. The undue influence of corporate money on our politics is the cancer underlying all other cancers. It’s in our hands now. #PeoplesConvention movetoamend.org

It’s time to get money out of politics. Anything other than this is just... “Yada-Yada-Yada.” #PeoplesConvention

in what world? The corporate conservatives control the media. Both parties take corporate money to do nothing. This will never ever happen in our lifetimes. Never.

Agree, but also tie it to a balanced budget amendment!
Except government is owned by the rich-no changes through passage of laws or amendments-how has that helped us thus far?

Overriding Citizens United would remove the ability to tax companies. Not that it’s a bad thing; I would do that and tax cap gains at regular income rates. I would implement that policy first to clear the way for a Citizens override (which would define people constitutionally).

Worshipping Money is the real evil. Corporatism/Globalism/exploiting cheap labor around the world/coveting China's big markets - when Money is King - Civil Liberties, other Values seem to disappear. That's why I say what we need is a spiritual tradition.

Should have thought of that before you helped elect Trump, who picked 2 supreme court judges....sigh

It’s a great idea but no solution on how to accomplish this. Currently we don’t have the numbers on SCOTUS.
