Dr. Peter Kalmus was brilliant. The time for incremental change in our environmental policies is over! Deference to fossil fuel company profits must give way to deference to the imperatives of human survival.

Well the only viable solution is the latest generation of nuclear plants. Wind mill blades and dead solar panels are epic landfill disasters.

We need a different mindset that sees us as part/an extension of nature. Love Deepak Chopra on this.

Agreed. We do not have time for an incremental approach. And that is dictated by the non-negotiating demands of nature. We have to start ripping into the problem big chunks at a time. This is why the whole Russia thing is a low-level distraction by comparison.

Were any of the talks recorded? If so, would be very interested in hearing some. Is there a link? Thanks!

Isn't he fantastic?! I wish every elected leader could have a conversation with him.

First it was wood then whales followed by coal now its oil. So what is next?
More than human survival, we must focus on planetary rejuvenation, on reconnecting with our place as part of, not separate from, the natural world. Our species cannot know peace while we torture & murder sentient beings just bc we can. We must learn that ALL life is precious.
