All the pain this year, and the willingness to empathize with those whose pain is so much more than ours, is genuinely changing us. We were never going to be able to change the world until we were genuinely changed ourselves. This might do it.

From your mouth to God's ear, as they say.
I worked with children years ago and the element they found that was at critical levels was empathy. Without it we get narcissists and entitlement. They cut the program to teach empathy. Sadly, we are seeing the result.
