My sister goes to Crews Middle School in Gwinnett County where a teacher got fired for having BLM as her zoom background. So the students (incl. my sister) decided to make their names on zoom (First, Last, and BLM). She has been kicked out of every class that she’s had today.

This is infuriating. Americans are free to have their political opinions, yet today there are genuine hate groups being treated with kid gloves and organizations that have done no harm to anyone being demonized.

Yet white people are sharing mourning calling it "these dark times" because of the destruction of statues and "burning of history books." They don't know the meaning of what a real burning of history books of an entire population is.

People can have their opinions but if you're a government employee, like a teacher, you shouldn't talk about politics while working or representing work.
