Trump and his cronies are master manipulators. They know exactly what strings to pull to lure millions of people into their circus tent of corruption, injustice, and unnecessary human suffering.... while wringing their hands as they plot their next deceitful scheme.

I used to take the Atlantic for gospel. Not so much anymore. Misinformation exists on both sides, the Liberal media is just a little more subtle about it

The political culture in our government is a serious problem. Has been building for a long time with complicit media as a huge amount of Americans struggle and become disenfranchised. Both conventions were a joke. They language used and manipulation tactics are worse than ever.

Whole "go out and vote" really is impactual towards this, we are so far behind in attempting a fix of that sick culture controlled by long term politicians who don't even understand how out of touch they are. The pessimism and frustration seen now should be obvious to more ppl

Yes, but it's a rabbit hole that goes very far and very wide. To force the metaphor, as Nietzsche remarked about the abyss, the deeper you look into it, the deeper it looks into you. Most people, most Democrats that is, I don't think want to look that deeply.

I love your focus on solutions, but the Trump supporters don’t want that, they are happy to ignore all his nasty words and his every dirty deed. The moral decay of society has reached new heights with this one!
