The way this works is that a loud group of protesters angrily heckling an elected official on a public street is abhorrent and threatening, but masked gunmen menacing legislators inside the state capitol is peaceful protest.

Right-wing media turning militia vigilante murderer Kyle Rittenhouse into a hero. Ann Coulter tweeted she would vote for him for president! The daily White House PR email even cited the Rittenhouse murders as justification for Trump to send in his secretive troops to Kenosha.

I don't think I'd call him a murderer, maybe a scared kid way over his head. He tried to get away from guy #1, then fired, hitting him once in the head - probably more from luck than skill, as it was within inches of a miss. (1 of 2)

My views are strongly progressive across the board & I think militias should be outlawed & that they contribute to chaos & the potential for more harm. I'm for rigorous gun control, but I do think this particular tragic situation is too complex to label it cold blooded murder.
