I didn’t watch the RNC; but various reliable media reported that RNC speakers did not speak to people’s heartstrings or aspirations. I think the RNC spoke entirely to people’s fears, with a sprinkling of patriotism. All wrapped neatly in lies & racism; to win 270 Electoral votes.

How did they do it? They spoke to people’s patriotism. They spoke to people’s heartstrings. They spoke to people’s aspirations. They spoke to America’s founding principles. But all wrapped up in a pack of lies. The key to winning would be to do that too but to wrap it up in truth

You might want to watch it for yourself. If someone was completely uninformed about what actually goes on politically, you’d think he was the greatest guy in the world.

But how can someone like me not become violently sick by the obvious cultish messiah patterns of speech and presentation? I watched in horror the development of various cults in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s (Peoples Church, Heavens Gate, Alive Polarity, and of course Manson Family).
