How did they do it? They spoke to people’s patriotism. They spoke to people’s heartstrings. They spoke to people’s aspirations. They spoke to America’s founding principles. But all wrapped up in a pack of lies. The key to winning would be to do that too but to wrap it up in truth

This. It’s because Democrats refuse to fight back in the culture war. Republicans call us traitors, who want to destroy Real America, openly calling for a second civil war. And Democrats respond with “We need to all come together...”

Patriotism is a construct, and it's been poisoned so badly that the rest of the world (rightly) fears American arrogance and our military industrial complex. The US military is the largest employer on the planet. Eisenhower tried to warn us. It's much too late now.

And to wrap it up in a message, delivered by a corporate donation/PAC FREE candidate who asks voters to: 1 Vote ONLY for candidates who do not accept a penny of corporate/special interest money 2 Lobby state lawmakers to enact a constitutional convention to get $ out of politics.

Are you calling Alice Johnson, Ann Dorn, Kim Klacik and Tim Scott liars?

Here's a crazy thought. Why not junk all the hokey phony shit and speak honestly to people's real concerns? Like Bernie does.

From the little I heard, they spoke to peoples fears. Fear is more powerful than any of those things you mentioned.

What Trump did was to capitalize on a racist fear that “others” were to blame for their problems. The fact that we will soon have a country where all of the minorities will outnumber the white population scares them. He tapped into that and gave them someone to blame
