Almost everyone right now would be well served reading a basic book about American history. Knowing our historical landscape gives us two gifts: 1/ we’ve been through very, very, very tough times before, and 2/ our pattern over time has always been to self-correct. We will again.

“Our.” “We.” I can’t identify with the group, the nation. I’m not looking to the nation for salvation or relief. Interesting that some do.

The Evil politicians desire to make their flock ignorant. Ignorant enough to accept lies and bury their children in those lies. We all need to be BOLD and declare Evil in all those governments that do not seek to embrace HUMANITY...("God's Dream")

You are forgetting that 15% of the US population is functionally illiterate. Don’t be such an elitist - you should only suggest that people get their information from a) a tweet or b) television.

Do we even have legitimate universally accepted American History books in this country that give a full scope of this country’s past? As troubled as it is? P.S. Marianne please move to CA and primary Newsom. Thank you !!!
