I would love it if change would come from non-violence, but I don't see that happening. What great things have we brought forth in this country with only just "peaceful" protesting? I have that guy blocked; but look at some of the disgusting comments left on his tweet.

Women’s Suffrage and Civil Rights legislation dismantling segregation. It’s not just about peaceful protesting. That’s the point of the post. It’s about peaceful non-violent activism of all kinds.

We can stand up and criticize POC who protest using methods that are not civilly and socially acceptable. But such actions as criticism and judgment are not helpful. Or we can choose to protest nonviolently and civilly among them, and let them know their messages are being heard.

When will the NBA protest the Chinese Uighur concentration camps? Asking for a friend.

Yes ... be creative ... there are a "Gazillion" ways to protest peacefully ... have fun with it ... you might just come up with something really unique ... something the whole country can sign on to!

The @NBA and @KingJames are boycotting because of a shooting of a wanted sex offender with a weapon resisting arrest...but they refuse to condemn the genocide of the Uighur Muslims by the Chinese government. Interesting choice 🇺🇸
