Nice that Jon, and apparently you, are already framing Trump's re-election as the fault of people protesting police brutality instead of the Democrats failure to run someone useful or the Right Wing's failure to be decent human beings.

No I don’t, actually. But he will give us a pause in the action; his election will interrupt an increasingly dangerous downward spiral into fascism. It will create some room. Then the rest of us will create the political power to address root causes.

What is the fighting you think is possible that would not bring down the entire force of militarized law enforcement in the US, causing immeasurable horror and suffering only to fortify the grip of neofascists on our govt? There is another way.

And the other way is the hard work of political activism. I’ve run for office twice. I know how corrupt it is. I am hardly naïve about that! But I also know that far too many people don’t participate and have made it way too easy for the corporatists to gain control.
