Let’s not hold that thought. The universe is filled with the possibility of new beginnings.

I think Beth is probably right here, though. Bernie really was offering something bold but still a relatively mild compromise, and if the Dem establishment had accepted his platform and the popular movement behind it instead of vilifying it, we'd be in a very different place.

It’s true. I’m not underestimating the tragedy there. And it happened twice, of course.

Wouldnt have to if political hacks woulda done your jobs for the last 50 years. Alas, the robber barons/oligarchy will not relinquish control peacefully. The people who are supposed to represent us have chosen to say fuck you to the public. The citizens will revolt soon enough.

Our leaders continue to eliminate any new possibilities. Their solution is to keep doing the same crap over and over again, which is the definition of insanity. They don't listen to us anymore. If they did, there would be many possibilities.

One of those possibilities is a #GeneralStrike which will do more to improve our political landscape than any single election ever could.

This is why I didn't take you seriously in the first debate. You say so many great things but then go off on feelgood "Maybe sociopaths can learn how to love" new-age fluff that completely turns me off. You're kicking the can down the road and in doing, guaranteeing more loss.
