Not really. He did not take anything out of the economy. People put a value on his company. It's a made up number. Amazon rising in value does not take wages from someone at a different company. It doesn't build schools, either.
Come on, one cannot hoard net worth based on stock values. Amazon stock could conceivably crash tomorrow and his net worth would plummet. That said, he’s still stupid rich in cash and other tangibles.
