I can’t imagine anyone whose heart isn’t breaking about now. It’s been said that there’s more room in a broken heart, and maybe a good cry is what a lot of us need.

What's worse is to many Americans this is normal. "Oh another shooting" in other countries these events would be devasting and they'd take real action to prevent it. In America we treat it as the average day.

My heart is in my stomach, seeing a 17 year old kid take a life so easily & people saying NBD. It is like all humanity is gone and everyone has lost the ability to care about human life anymore. They watch lives get taken on a screen and make excuses for why it is okay. 😭

There are horrible crises converging, but there are also delightful moments, like my niece giggling on a slide. (Just some nervous system antivenom). 🙏🏽✊🙏🏽

Crying definitely helps. What also helps is being gentle and kind to ones self. That is the only way we can transform any of this.
