This is important, but the fundamental changes need to go deeper. We shouldn’t be okay with simply making an unjust system less unjust.
The Senate needs to immediately pass the legislation I introduced with @SenSanders and @SenWarren to abolish qualified immunity for law enforcement officers once and for all.
