It's still government of the people, by and for the propertied class, just the way it was the day this nation was founded. We're still a long way from "of, by and for the people". Onward!

I found this interesting. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democr… It occurred to me that THIS is why I couldn't vote for Donald Trump, ever; He doesn't like Democracy and admires people who have less democratic institutions.

Indeed .. still a loooong way to go .. Police in most major cities in the US are still doing the bidding of the propertied class instead of "serving and protecting" the general population ..
