The problem is not that a bunch of corporate CEOs sit around thinking about ways to hurt people or planet, because they don’t; the problem is that they don’t think it’s their job to have to think about it one way or the other. That’s how an amoral system produces immoral results.

They don't even care about employees or the companies that pay their over inflated salaries that they do nothing to earn. All they care about is filling their pockets.

The future is spiritual because it’s now dire and out our control to stop near-term mass extinction.

I think we should make our markets closer to free, and then develop a system to measure a company’s public harm. Then tax the SHIT out of them for it. You are free to run your business, but if we have to clean up your mess, you are paying for it.

In their culture it is childish to consider anything at all but the bottom line. The honest description is "money worship."

Capitalism Vs Growth & Expansion... no sight of people or environment.. simply doing what must be done to increase value of shares for stakeholders. The cost is hidden in the ethos & mission statement

The problem is that the law doesn’t apply to them because they’re in bed with the people that make the laws.

I was working at an ad agency in 1990 -- around the beginning of office email -- and while passing the agency's CEO I asked, "Why are we all still getting memos when we could save paper and just be sent emails?" And he replied, "Great idea. Put out a memo."

I don’t agree here. The CEOs must fairly follow the rules (law), that’s all, not be altruistic shaman. Trouble is, the current rules on taxes, customs, trade agreements, min wage ALLOW Bezos to aggregate 1 trillion dollars. It’s immoral and time to profoundly change the rules.
