What Republicans and some Democrats call “far left” refers to policies (free healthcare, etc) that in most European countries are considered mainstream and moderate. In those countries, our slavish devotion to trickle down economics is what would be considered extreme.

Those policies are mainstream and moderate *here*; a majority of Americans want them. Opposition to such policies is the real fringe position.
69% support providing Medicare to every American. 63% support the Green New Deal. 27% approved of Rahm Emanuel's job as Mayor.

Exactly! It’s the opposite of truth. As Yang pointed out, we flourish when our health is better as a society. It’s backwards and harms.

We need trickle up economics. Trickle down doesn't work, too much greed and apathy. We need #UniversalBasicIncome

EU countries with RIGHT wing govts have universal healthcare, strong unions & labor rights, free/cheap college, public daycare, paid leave, and they wouldn't dare take them all away from citizens. Taxes? High *marginal* taxes. In some cases, lower than in US.

trickle down economics is socialism for the wealthy. *Most democrats* want these polices. *Most of America* does as well.

Republicans are trying to paint Biden as the radical liberal left 🤣

your 'left' is similar to germany's middle, maybe even middle-right (Merkel's CDU'). the hilarious part is when US media talks about germany's NPD as basically being nazi's while they are pretty much identical with the GOP. quite likely more centric than the GOP actually.
