What Republicans and some Democrats call “far left” refers to policies (free healthcare, etc) that in most European countries are considered mainstream and moderate. In those countries, our slavish devotion to trickle down economics is what would be considered extreme.

Businesses love trussing their employees via healthcare. Obscene.
Even most third world countries have universal health care

Calling a good or service "free" does not render it immune to the economic law of scarcity. Be a doctor/surgeon and offer your services for free. What's stopping you? Start a whole movement doing that, then once supply exceeds demand, viola! Lower prices!

If you want free health care you need to fix the corruption in it first or else it will blow up in the end. Try just simply enforcing the laws on the books like US Chapter 1 Restraint of Trade Act for starters. Then continue to take control of the corruption and eradicate it

Actually, no. They call Biden and Harris far left, which is laughable but Republican voters believe it even though Biden/Harris and corporate Dems aren't for any non-republican policies when it comes down to implementation.

Marianne i agree with you on everything 100%. What are your thoughts about National defense? With a bully like Putin in the backyard of many if these countries who have decided to appropriate very little on defense spending as relative to healthcare. Are they at risk ?
