1/ There are people who claim that giving people $1000 a month will “disincentivize” them from working, yet think that giving huge corporations tens of millions of dollars in subsidies is what will make them better able to do their job.

You are one of my favorite voices on here. It’s a shame that the media tried to make your candidacy seem risible because of a speech at a debate that didn’t quite hit right. All while establishment politicians are given infinite do-overs on more egregious gaffes.

This. It was never about incentivizing. Some ppl simply think Rich ppl deserve money and Poor ppl dont.

In Rye, NY, I told u about my friend who is a dental hygienist in NE and the OD in her chair, narcan revival, people having kids for cash, etc. Turns out recent unemployment benefits have dissuaded some from going back to work while they drive Mercedes. Small subset but problem.
I believe it will be tied to forced vaccines, tracking, digital currency, & health insurance

Does not make it any less true. We are experiencing it here in AZ, one of our shops can't open, we have to re-staff, they are collecting unemployment.

The rich stopped doing any work a long time ago they live off economic rent.

Maybe it will “deincentivize” them on that third job just to make ends meet.

subsidies are not meant to "make them better able to do their job"
