Biden should appoint a Presidential Commission on Recreating Law Enforcement. It should consist not just of “police experts” but of regular citizens, sociologists & social workers. And it should be actionable. We have to start thinking this way; we can’t just “reform” what is.

I'm sure your proposals would include street corner "minders" and reporting on your parents

Create a Federal Policing Ethics Investigations Team. Every member will be African American. They go to towns undercover and simply go to cafes, restaurants etc and follow both the spirit and letter of the law. And then they wait and see how the local cops act.

Don't forget putting psychologists on that commission. You will need our insight/expertise.
#JoeBiden's record shows he is on "Team ONLY #BlueLivesMatter." Do you have any evidence that #BlackLivesMatter to #JoeBidenIsARacist? "Not #Trump" is not evidence.

To become a cop in Germany takes almost 4 years & this includes one year of Holocaust education & a rigorous screening. 6 to 10 MONTHS in the US! If we did the same & included 1 year of slavery education, we would have a chance to weed out unfit candidates.
No offense, but "regular citizens" have no clue how law enforcement should or could work. "Experts" is not a pejorative. We trust those who have spent their careers studying something when it comes to fixing that something. The days of fetishising Joe Six-pack need to end.
