If we can land a man on the moon, we should be able to re-create policing in the United States so as not to be so dangerous to our citizens. It’s one of many areas where it will not be technical expertise but rather imagination, ethics and vision that guide us to a better future.

LOL I used to work in catering, long jobs, sometimes 4 hours on a bus. I used to say this" if we can put a man on a moon why can't we come up with a bus toilet that doesn't stink up the bus ?" The answer is, we could, but only poor people ride on buses, so no one is even trying.

Marianne, when an officer is pointing a gun at you and screaming at you to stop, you don't ignore him, resist arrest, walk away and reach into your car. If he was reaching into his car for a gun that officer could have been dead within a second after he shot him.

You didn't land a man on the moon, to be honest.

💯 agree. Cept for the part where we landed on the moon. That still feels like bullshit 😂

Um. We can't land a man on the moon. This country has fallen backwards in terms of what we can do as civic projects. We can't even put together a public healthcare system like all of our peers.
