There’s something inherently & fundamentally flawed about our system of policing in the United States. Police are not being trained to “keep the peace,” but to act as though they’re practically an occupying army. The system should be demolished and replaced.

It’s not the police MW. ITS THE FREAKING PEOPLE! People are rude, obnoxious, destructive and defiant. People now a days have their own view of how things should be and live by their own standards. THAT DOESNT WORK IN CIVILIZED SOCIETY. We have rules. LIKE IT OR LUMP IT!

The inherent flaw is in the history of policing and in the system of deciding who constitutes a threat.

You just now figured it out?

The only people who don’t like police are criminals. Why aren’t you condemning the violent criminals whose persistent actions require a prolonged police presence? You call the police an occupying army but will not call the violent criminals what they are. That’s shamefully wrong.

I still wanna know who gunned down Bernell Trammell in the street. Nobody kicked up any fuss about that one, because he was killed simply for being an outspoken Trump supporter. Funny how that happened in the same state, yet two vastly different reactions. All the faux outrage 🤦‍♂️
