So when millions of us have seen with our own eyes the execution of unarmed black men, can someone explain how any policeman still feels permitted to do dastardly deeds like what was done to Jacob Blake tonight? (And don’t dare anyone say that we don’t have all the facts yet)

Marianne have you listened to Robert Evan’s podcast on the origin of policing? He’s the journalist who had his finger broken in Portland yesterday. It’s essential to understand why the behave those they do. iheart.com/podcast/1119-behi…

Police are racist oppressors. Police began as overseers, this is what they still are. The only thing they protect is capital and the people in power who in turn protect their continued existence.

Because you still vote blue no matter who. The red stands for the fascist neo-nazis that beat protesters up. The blue stands for the Police who kill and suppress marginalized people into slavery. You keep voting for them! You are the problem!

@sunraysunray Sir, does the travesty above ☝🏽 fit into your neat, purist, time- and century-bound, textbook definition of "Fascism" — or not? Because it seems to a lot of us fellow human beings who share this orb w/ Americans, that the United States police force is fascist.

Impunity for police voilence is the direct result of structural White Supremacy. The police don't just feel permitted... they are encouraged to be brutal and dastardly to historically oppressed groups of Americans. It's the function of a WS carceral state.

The violence without consequences is their favorite part of the job. The police are dressed up like action figures in expensive gear and get to beat and overpower unarmed people in t-shirts and jeans.

Casteism. They feel impunity. Black people are dehumanized. They feel entitled to use violence as a means of maintaining the caste system that puts them above others in terms of value of life. People do it all the time. Not just cops. Cops just happen to be in a position to shoot
