No side of the political spectrum has a monopoly on truth, moral values or on how much or how well they love their children. Both are blinded by any thought that they do. We’ve got to reclaim a golden mean in politics where reasonable people of goodwill simply disagree sometimes.

1/ I’ve had experiences in my life of people making the most amazing transformations in their outlook on an issue once I changed inside myself and they didn’t feel subconsciously like I was judging them. All minds are joined, and everybody wants to feel affirmed.

2/ Something amazing happened to me on an airplane about 20 years ago. I was talking to this really nice doctor who was coming back from doing all this great work with people with medical problems overseas. We were having a great conversation about the world, God etc.

3/ So we obviously had started to think that we had all these shared values & then the conversation turned to the issue of evil. He said to me “I’ll tell you when evil set into this country.” Of course I’m thinking, “Reaganomics!” And he said, “When they made abortion legal.”

1/Marianne, it is nice to hear you say these words because they sound like the real you. Pushback is part of the gig. Do you want to be insane and appear sane or be sane and appear insane? Sanity has a price in this insane world and you have been paying it for decades
