No side of the political spectrum has a monopoly on truth, moral values or on how much or how well they love their children. Both are blinded by any thought that they do. We’ve got to reclaim a golden mean in politics where reasonable people of goodwill simply disagree sometimes.

The golden mean of compromise between... Ending discrimination or pretending it doesn't exist? Protecting the environment or enthusiastically destroying it? Helping our neighbors in need or every man for himself? No offense, but I have no interest in that. Sounds awful.

Interesting that you just said this. Right before I was thinking, I want way more transparency and honesty than ever from our politicians. Current occupant & his admin do not fit this bill.
