So let’s get clear. When the Proud Boys came to attack Left wing protesters, the police stayed away & didn’t intervene. But after the Proud Boys and their ilk left, the protesters who remained were told that they’re involved in an unlawful assembly and the police came after them?

Okay. So theoretically police have been trying to deal with that. But then shouldn’t they also deal with violence if it’s committed by the Proud Boys, who were definitely attacking people?

Were you there? Videos often seem to start half way into an altercation, leaving out why someone needed to defend themself. That can be carefully orchestrated.
