1/ Before I go to sleep tonight, I’m going to say a prayer for my country. There’s a line in A Course in Miracles that says “God does not give you victory in battle; he lifts you above the battlefield.”

2/ It reminds me of Rumi’s poem: “Out beyond all ideas of good or bad, right or wrong, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” Whatever is going on in this country, it’s going to take more than the mortal rational mind to heal it. Fortunately a greater power exists in each of us.

I suspect God is also wondering when we will decide enough is enough, and how much more we will choose to endure before we remember that we are all here to love and be loved. No matter who, no matter what!
