2/ It reminds me of Rumi’s poem: “Out beyond all ideas of good or bad, right or wrong, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” Whatever is going on in this country, it’s going to take more than the mortal rational mind to heal it. Fortunately a greater power exists in each of us.

3/ Dear God, please do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. Heal this country and heal our hearts. May the waters of forgiveness dissolve the walls that divide us. And so it is. Amen.
