1/ If you don’t know what the Proud Boys are, you should probably learn. A gay friend of mine in NYC told me a couple of years ago that he & his boyfriend were at a bar in Brooklyn & these Proud Boys came over & told them that it was time for them to leave, the place was closing.

2/ My friend looked around & saw other people were still there, looked at their watches & realized it wasn’t closing time yet. So they told the guys that they would leave when they were done. Then the Proud Boys literally beat him up & dragged them out. This is not a drill.

Not an exaggeration, AT LEAST 50% of these "proud boys" are closeted gay men. Self-hatred/projection is a THING, everybody...

They do seem like buffoons, but so does Antifa. And this is why it’s hard to take people on the left or right seriously, they pick and choose who they want to dislike instead of saying the truth about everyone

Marianne, I hate to be the one to tell you, but if you were told that a couple of years ago, right-wing homophobes were cruising bars in Brooklyn targeting gay couples, you were lied to.

The first time I heard it 5 years ago maybe. My son told me there was an LGBTQ Parade in Portland and a Proud started beating a Trans person for no reason. I said "what is a proud?" And he said "Proud Boy"

You only need to listen to their founder speak to realize these people are actively seeking violent confrontations.

I’ve list all respect for you. Totally irresponsible of you. I will post slowly all the videos of violence that you have willfully overlooked here. The months and months of violence that have gone on while you stood silent. Sadly you are doing harm to this country now.

I’m sorry, you must have missed my point. It was NOT closing time. And if it had been closing time, no it would not be lawful for someone to beat you up and drag you out of the place.
