I’m trying to objective here. So when BLM protests are happening, police go full on, But when the Proud Boys are out, the police look away...?

While I am filming a right wing activist charges out and assaults me, breaking my finger with an asp baton. Sergio has more footage of the confrontation that follows

The police probably participated in protesting with the Proud Boys till it was time to change into their uniform to go to work. #ACAB #DefundThePolice

You can remain objective of each separate incident as they happen, but the overwhelming evidence is that the protestors have been peaceful and dedicated. The situation is only escalating while politicians continue to sit on their thumbs.

Could there be a tactical reason? Caught in the middle type of thing? Any experienced people know?

Immediately after the proud boys and their fellow travellers left, the police declared the gathering unlawful and began gassing and beating people again. One of them also drew and aimed a gun at people even though there was no-one threatening him

Yes. Not only because of the institutions of american policing lending themselves structurally to this kind of alliance, but also because many cops are LITERALLY members of white supremacist & fascist organizations.

There's been multiple reports on Portland officers being linked to the PB. It's quite obvious they're not "objective" arbiters of law.

Yes, it has always been this way. Been marching since '68; Klan would throw rocks and bottles south of Mason Dixon line, police were there to protect THEM!!
